While staying at Destin- we were driving to Seaside and Color water- Suddenly we were so Hungry and we were looking for a Mexican restaurant. I saw Los Rancheros and Got inside to check the Menú, and really liked it. As soon as I got Inside, Joel gave me a sweet and big smile which Already made me feel So Welcome. We order several dishes and service was fantástic, clean and The shrimp cocktail was the BEST I have ever had. Even my husband who is not Mexican and does not eat this cocktail, Really liked it. If you are in Destin and you want Mexican Restaurant- Come to Los Rancheros, and ask for Joel! Muchas Gracias- Joel, Hasta la Vista!

We've eaten here a few times and went tonight because we enjoyed it. What a disappointment! While the service was okay. The wait as long and the food arrived so cold we had to send it back. We won't be returning for a while!

The food was good but the service lacked any enthusiasm. Waiter came took our drink orders came back with them but disappeared! After waiting a rather long time he brought the food and we asked for a tea which never came. The guacamole tasted bad and looked old! We didn't eat it. The fajitas and the steak fajita burrito was good, but again I have to go back to bad service.

Meh, Mexican food. Largely ignored when I walked in for dinner on a Thursday night, although there was a fair amount of staff in the restaurant, which was mostly empty. Some food items were good - beans and rice, the fried burrito with chicken was mostly bland.

Went in during lunch hours. Had $1.50 tacos special. Good service good prices and good beer selection. They have my fav beer Pacifico on tap. I'll be going there more often!!

Am aTexan. Lots of reviews here. I'll be kind. Service good. Margaritas not good. Sweet Roses' lime crap. Just wet. Food was fair at best. I know my. Mes'can food. Watery refritos. This place is for yankees that don't know better. Had to order salsa caliente to make it interesting.

I am an extreme Mexican food critic. I come from the west coast and I KNOW GOOD MEXICAN FOOD!!!! So far FL doesn't have any..... Besides what I make at home!! That being said.... I give this place a 3 star rating..... Food- 2 stars Price- 3 stars Menu Options- 3.5 stars Quality- 2 stars Employees- 3.5 stars It's true that prices and good service will bring people back. Even knowing it's not the best and sometimes we leave wishing for something better!! Chips and salsa are decent at best, but fresh! Tacos to me are horrible...... I DO NOT WANT GROUND BEEF TACOS..... GIVE ME STEAK OR SOMETHING ELSE AMAZING THAT I DONT NORMALLY MAKE AT HOME!! Fajitas are probably my favorite menu item..... Hard to screw those up! My kids like the place and we get our food fast. We live about 5 minutes away which is the reason we eat there probably twice a month. And we have had nothing but amazing service there. So we will be back!!

Head there on Sundays, 20% off the entire ticket, and the chile Colorado is a must have. Kids enjoyed their kids meals too. Can't go wrong w margaritas. Cheers!

If you want great Mexican food and a full bar in Santa Rosa Beach then this is the place to come. They have daily specials and the food is excellent!! The margaritas are giant and reasonably priced as well. Their menu is traditional Mexican fare with a few surprises. They have added wings and some Italian dishes to their fare!! Pretty good too! The service is always fast and friendly and the food hot and delicious.

Horrible food and service is worse!! AND The place smells like cat poop.. This is the only restaurant I have walked out of!! Do not dare! If I could rate zero stars I would.
